For example, Collin College and Texas Tech University Health Service Center signed an unique agreement that would allow Collin College nursing students to have concurrent enrollment with Texas Tech University Health Service Center’s Anita Thigpen School of Nursing. Besides the Collin Higher Education Center was recently established in contiguous McKinney. This teaching center is a result of partnership between Collin College and five area universities: Dallas Baptist University, Texas AM University-Commerce, Texas Womans University, The University of Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas. CHEC offers a variety of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
